There are a number of factors: The biggest of which is the multi-racial
nature of the country.
There has been lots of research on what makes a human face beautiful.
Interestingly, if you take a bunch of random faces and put them in front
of a bunch of (different) random people who don't know any of the faces,
they will usually agree which is the most beautiful picture, which is the
least and the order of those in between.
This is cross cultural - Americans, Russians, Arabians, etc, will generally
agree which faces go where in the order.
Generally, the most pleasing faces are "average" across all faces and
all cultures - its like we're seaking our own primordial ideal from which
all genes have diverged.
The thought is that if you mix races, mix gene pools, you get more average
faces (average in that the nose isn't too long, too short, the eyes are
not too far apart, or too close together, etc. Average does NOT mean
neither beaufiful or ugly. Generally, average faces are more beautiful
than extreme faces).
So, yes, a place where there is a lot of interbreeding should produce
a lot of beautiful ... average ... faces.
Due to the increase average temperature, people generally spend
more time outdoors, get more exercize and have less body fat. Within
limits, less body fat produces a more appealing hip/waist ratio, etc.

There are many beautiful people in Brazil. I think it is the lifestyle which emphasizes beauty, fashion and life by the beach, at least in Rio. I agree with Mohammed, the blended races result in gorgeous people.

You obviously are attracted to an exotic type of beauty. I myself find exotic sexy too. However, I also find all different types sexy and attractive. I hope your wife ends up being Brazilian, if not I think you will be in trouble.
