Why does Microsoft offer "US English" and "UK English" as it's options when carrying out a spell check on word documents - there is no such thing as US English. English is English, not US.

Ok, I'm not asking anyone to do my homework, because I already did it. I translated this passage into German, but I was wondering if anyone fluent in German could just simply tell me if I translated it right. All I need to know is if everything makes sense and is in the right place. I will appreciate any help given. Thank you so much!!! =)

Letzten Sommer bin Ich nach Riccione gefahren. Ich habe im Hotel Apollo gewohnt. Fast jeden Tag habe Ich Tortellini gegessen. Ich bin im Riccione zwei Wochen gebleiben. Am Vormittag habe Ich Volleyball gespielt dann gebadet. Am Nachmittag habe Ich Italienisch mit Giovanna gelernt. Am Abend bin Ich oft in die Eisdiele gegangen. Ich habe viel Spaß gehabt.

I learn French at school, and I'm pretty much fluent in Shona.
I want like, a new challenge, but I don't know which language I should learn. I don't want anything too obvious, like Spanish etc, and I don't want to have to buy those wee keyboard stickers.

Any suggestions?

ok in my textbook it says:

the pronoun "se" tells you that the subject of the sentence receives the the action of the verb. verbs with this pronoun before them are called reflexive verbs.

and then it says:
when you're using a reflexive verb to talk about yourself, use "me" before the verb instead of se.

i am so confused that makes no sense
can you please help me understand it?

Suspected stains on clothing and bed clothes are preserved by spreading each of the articles out on clean wrapping paper and rolling them separately in the paper.

Thank you very much!

I think in the "mother language". But since deaf people cannot hear, they can't learn how to speak a language. Nevertheless, they must think in some language. Would they think in mother language if they use sign language and read mother language? How would they do that if they've never heard the words they are signing or reading pronounced? Or maybe they just see words in their head, instead of hearing themselves?
