I'm going to take language classes at my college. Could you reccomend any languages? It doesn't necessarily have to be really easy, and I'd like a language that gives you a larger selection of words to express yourself with. And I'd like a language that isn't very harsh.

I am reading an article for my Spanish class, but this word isn't in any of my dictionaries. In context, it is, "El número de inmigrantes cubanos interceptados en altamar que intentan llegar a Florida, Estados Unidos, en lo que va de este año excedió ya el total registrado durante todo el 2006, revelaron cifras oficiales."

What's the gender of -ar verbs?
Masculine, Feminine, or Neither?

I know -ar verbs are "To be" "To do", and not He, She, You, I, They, Yall, We, etc.

What's the gender?

Thanks,
Jin

I was just wondering why some names cant be pronounced in England but they can in Ireland such as the irish gardening guy Diarmuid Gavin is known as Dermot Gavin in England and Diarmuid in Ireland which is actually his real name.

He was on the weakest link once and Anne Robinson tried to pronouce Diarmuid but she couldnt say it.
