im undecided whether to study portuguese or italian. im fluent already in French and Spanish. Italian is such a pretty romantic language compared to portuguese although less people speak it. I have a feeling also that i might learn italian faster due to the words and pronounciation. while portuguese have some hard accent and hard pronounciation sometimes. the thing about portuguese is that it is spoken internationally just about every continent. but if my girlfriend is learning Italian then I should learn italian right to converse with her?

I am trying to describe a group of people who fight against both good and evil forces. I need a Latin word that conveys this idea--something along the lines of “Those who stand between”.

Can anyone help me with this?

not just because i speak spanish, but it hurts my ear when i hear someone refer to miami as "my-am-mee" there clearly is a letter "i" in there twice(mee-a-mee) . come on, you can do it, you don't have to be latino to say it correctly, lol. can you say Colorado, yup. what about San Diego(sandy eggo), you would never say (san die-go). same goes for french. jean pierre(john pee-air) of course you know all of this..um.. hopefully. pronoucing miami correctly will not make you look like a moron just because you are not latino or a spanish speaker for some it is actually attactive to put a little accent to certain words(wink wink, call me...).

Could someone provide me with the transliteration (not translation) of “random” into Hebrew? I tried looking online for an automated transliterator but I came up empty handed. For this transliteration, random is not an adjective but a girl's name. This is for an art project. Eventually, the word will be crossed over itself to form a hexagram.
