I love listening to foreign languages. I could listen to French, Italian, Chinese or Japanese all day long. I love the sound of them, but when it comes to Spanish it's like nails on a chalk board. Even reading it annoys me. Take the following example:

Las que bailan regueton les gusta que les restreguen el paquete entre las nalgas?

It's some question to people that like dancing to Raggaeton, but just look at it! Doesn't it make your head hurt? The words are so unnecessarily long and it's so gender oriented. Having to conjugate differently for a man and a woman, how bloody tedious is that! And don't even get me started on the subjunctive. Let's have an altogether different conjugation to express doubt and uncertainty, shall we?

P.S. Don't ever ask a Spanish speaker for directions. By the time they tell finish telling you, if you had just asked someone in English, you would be there already! Take it from me - I've missed many a highway exit and turn off because of this.

I can say this in 4 languages already and I am collecting how to say random phrases like this in many languages. So if you have any other 'useful' phrases or can translate this into your language (without a translator) answer my question! Thanks

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great Christmas :)

I need some help with my exam project, and I need at least ten people (from English speaking countries, not older than 30 ) to answer the following questions. Please and thank you!

Questions:

1. Name (optional, but preferred)
2. Age
3. Location (state would be enough)

A. Now you need to list all the words you use talking with/about the following people (in other words, I need you to state all the possible variants you call somebody. For example, you can call your brother "bro", "dude" or by name. i hope it makes sense)

The people are:

1. your friend
2. your boyfriend/girlfriend, beloved
3. a child
4. your boss
5. a stranger
6. your family members
7 any older person
8. your classmates/workmates.

B. Please name all the variants of the following names:

Anna
Alexander

Thanks a lot. You're saving my *** from failing !

I love everything about Japan and would love to learn their language.Does anybody know any good sites or cheap books which would help me?To start with i am more interested in the actual language like how they speak rather than how they write their langauge in symbols.I wouldn't like to join a class however though i would join an online class.I know a few words i've picked up from shows like Sailor moon.I have a paid domain website and would give a subdomain to anyone who knows good japanese and would like a website and also anything to do with japanese i am prepared to host it onto my website for you.Eg/ yoursite.potterpowered.com and also free advertising on my site which is potterpowered.com.

I have looked it up on freetranslation.com but it doesn't have a "real life" kind of way so I was hoping someone that knows spanish could explain it to me better. I apologize if it means anything dirty because I am not for sure what it means.

I've been taking Spanish classes for years now. I can read it, write it and speak it pretty well, but I have a really hard time understanding it when it's spoken quickly by native speakers. Any suggestions on how to understand what people are saying?

I want to Translate This Turkish song for Mustafa Sandal
To English:

Song Title : Aya benzer.

Ben dönerim etrafýnda
hiç kimse farketmez
aþk bu affetmez
ýþýklarýn sönerse
hep dönerim etrafýnda
hiç kimse farketmez
aþk bu göstermez
rüyalarýn biterse

Ýyi dinle duyarsýn sesimi uzaklardan
dinle en kuytu acýlardan
kalbinde yoruldunsa yolculuklardan
vazgeç artýk yýldýzlardan

Aya benzer yüreðim
e doðal olarak takipteyim
ah þu kaderi çözersem eðer
bekle geliyorum aþkým

Aya benzer yüreðim
e doðal olarak takipteyim
ah þu kaderi çözersem eðer
seni si geliyorum aþkým
