i need to find a site that has english to japanese phrase translations and vice versa and a site for latin phrase translations also

Most sites charge for translation, but If you use Microsoft word it has a translation built right in. Highlite what you would like to translate, right click and translation is at the bottom of the menu. Good Luck

Umm...I don't know about translating phrases into romaji, but try www.freetranslation.com and it can translate paragraphs of english into japanese. but it doesn't translate into romaji, so you'll have to be able to read hiragana, katakana and kanji. for plain words, try www.freedict.com (or you could just buy one of your own). for lessons, go to www.yesjapan.com (you have to sign up and pay, but it's worth it)
