Tips for surviving during a trip to Cuba
-Keep a Spanish dictionary or phrase book handy at all times
-Remember to get convert your dollars into pesos at the airport or find local places in Cuba to convert your dollars
-Don’t overdress, Cuba is always warm.
While in Cuba, be sure to visit Havana. From jazz clubs like La Zorra y el Cuervo, cabarets (Tropicana), Havana has it all. Most importantly, take the time to appreciate Havana’s rich history by visiting such historical sites like Monumento Ernesto Che Guevara, Casa Velázquez (Museo de Ambiente Colonial Cubano), Catedral de San Cristóbal, y Trinidad de Cuba.
However, there are entertaining activities for everyone including Varadero Golf (golf), Cayo Largo del Sur (diving), for hiking and nature visit Escambray Mountains, and for peace and quiet or a tan, visit Baracoa o Guanahacabibe Peninsula or simply ride a catamaran or a yacht through Cuban waters.
