It depends on what you want to say ... The german language needs more words to describe ONE word in English.... either vielfalt or verschiedenartigkeit describes the english word of diversity. however you have to know when to use which one since it makes a pretty big difference.

Ok, well it would be better if you can give us the context in which you want to use the word, but i will try my best anyways...

If you want to say "there is not much cultural diversity in germany"
you would say : " In Deutschland gibt es nicht sehr viel kulturtelle Vielfalt."

Verschiedenartigkeit is almost never used just like that. Rather you would say " Es gibt nicht so viele verschiedene Kulturen" which means "there are not many diverse cultures"

Ther are several ranslations: the best may be "Vielfalt"
