Nosotras comemos means We eat, right ? And it refers to a we that is feminine. If there are more girls that boys in "we" do I use nosotros or nosotras ?

And as you know..the word Hablo means I speak so it is not that important to say Yo hablo, right ? Unless you really want to empasis it or tell that you are the only one who speak. But if it is Habla it can mean she speak, he speak and you (formal) speak so is it important to say Ella,el,usted habla instead of just habla ???

Anyway, I think Spanish is a really beautiful language to learn..:)

In Spanish we always use the masculine form to refer to a group in which there is at least a man, it doesn't matter how many women are there.
To use the feminine form in a plural it is absolutely necessary that all of the members of that plural are female.
"Nosotras comemos" refers to a group of women, girls, or whatever but feminine.
But "nosotros comemos" refers to a group which can be formed by all men or there can exist a woman or more but ther has to be at least a man.

In Spain if you say only "Habla" and you don't tell anything else you are not refering to ELLA, ÉL OR UD. you are telling that person "You, speak" as an imperative form. Saying only "Habla" is the same as saying "Tú, habla"

To use "habla" refering tho ella, él or ud. you need to continue the sentence like:
"habla de ir a la playa" here it refers to "ella habla de ir a la playa" or "él habla de ir a la playa" or "ústed habla de ir a la playa". it means he/she sais to go to the beach or he / she is talking about going to the beach.

I hope it helps

okay if there are 100 girls and one guy with you it would be nosotros and yes it means we eat. and hablo can just be hablo but when using habla you need to put the el ella or usted so people know which one you're talking about

When you are talking about men and women together you say "nosotros" because is not necessary to specify, if you are talking about everyone.

Yes is necessary to say "Yo hablo", because "hablo" alone it would mean just "speak", and yes is necessary say Ella, El o usted!

if there are more girls than boys you still use nosotros, you use nosotras whene there are girls only. for example if there are three girls and one boy you would say nosotros.
and your right with habla is not really important to say ella, el,... use it if you want to empasis it.

If there are more girls than boys then you should use NOSOTROS because that word is unisex. to say formaly that you speak you should say YO HABLO no matter if your a girl or a boy and yes its important to say llo, el, ella e.t.c. hope this helps

if there is any boy at all (even one) you use the male form...

exactly, if you want to sound more like a native speaker of spanish, you do not need to say "yo" or "tu", i would say el or ella, unless you have already specified who is doing the speaking. It is also very important to say Ud. so they know that the person you are talking to knows you are talking to them.

By possessing grammatical knowledge you can use wisely the language you speak.

Everything you say above is absolutely ok, my native language is Spanish and you have all the right comments about it.

Then it pretty much depends on situations on where to apply the use of the words.

And thanks, I do think Spanish is rich and vast, it has some of the most beautiful words contained within its cultures.

So enjoy learning it!
