isn't it only said with "chee" sound if there is only 1 "c", as in "baci?" (ba chee)?

how come you say "ree chee" as in christina ricci and not "ree kee"?

My sister is 16 and she and her friends are constantly messaging each other on their mobiles and talking on the internet.
