isn't it only said with "chee" sound if there is only 1 "c", as in "baci?" (ba chee)?

how come you say "ree chee" as in christina ricci and not "ree kee"?

ok..at first..in italian the "C" before a "I" or a "E"...say [chee]...while the "C" before a "A" or a "O" or a "U"..say [k]..so "RICCI" say [ree cchee] (with 2 chee)....bye

Really should be Reech - Chee. The double letters are both pronounced - one at the end of the first syllable, one at the beginning of the second. The second "i" gives both "c's" the CH sound. Best English example of the sound would be in "beach chair".
