I am getting married to a Tunisian in March and would love to be able to speak arabic to my fiance's family and friends.
Does anybody have any ideas of who may do an audio book?
Also I need to learn to write Arabic (but not in Arabic script) - all the books I have looked at to date have it in script !?!

I am Spanish and I am learning English. I have learned that the plural of person is people. So I am confused to hear people using the word "persons" which would be incorrect, for "people", . I would like someone to confirm if persons can be used as well. Thank you for your answers.

I've always wondered what that saying meant and I've never understood it. That might be because I've lived in the north all my life.

For example: My boss, Peter, uses perhaps the best deoderant in the world called Mitchum's. I go to say that it probably burns the pores shut, but I know that there is a better word. Can someone help me out?

p.s. I think they used to do it to knights and soldiers when they were wounded in battle.

I was born in China but moved to the U.S. when I was six. Since then I've retained my Chinese verbal skills but can't read or write much beyond my own name. Hopefully that will change as I've decided to teach myself how to read and write. I'm 21. How hard will this be?

Mi voz se quebra al recodar
Que solamente fui tu juego
Pues eres todo para mi
Que tonto fui, estube tan ciego

Me duele tanto tu traicion
Pues eres lo que yo mas quiero
Hubo un intruso entre los dos
Que nos decia que era amigo sincero

Parece mentira que me allas olvidado
Y yo que tanto te he amado
Y ahora estas con el

Parece mentira que en lo brazos
De tu amante no recuerdes que juraste
Por siempre ser me fiel, parece metira

Me duele tanto tu traicion
Pues eres lo que yo mas quiero
Hubo un intruso entre los dos
Que nos decia que era amigo sincero

Parece mentira que me allas olvidado
Y yo que tanto te he amado
Y ahora estas con el

Parece mentira que en los brazos
De tu amante no recuerdes que juraste
Por siempre serme fiel, parece mentira
