If you received an email from eBay saying

'Thank you for writing eBay.'

What would you think ? That its a spoof/spam email or written by someone learning English as a non -native speaker ?

Does this sound correct gramatically ? Should it be 'Thank you for writing to eBay ?'

or is Thank you for writing eBay. fine?

Pls tell me the name of such a community which consists of parks, schools, stores and houses. What's the English name for this? A lot of people live in such a community. Or maybe you can provide another proper name for this except community?

I visited Germany several years ago and would like to just establish some sort of penpal communication with someone over there. I know a tiny bit of German too, so maybe it can be some sort of "I'll teach you English and you teach me German" sort of a thing.
