Any language skills willl help job wise and other wise. The fact that you are interested in other cultures speaks to your respect for others. That type of positive attitude makes you an asset to your community, work and family.

Definitely, if you are in America, you know that Spanish is becoming a larger spoken language. A lot of jobs might require bilingual speakers. It depends also on what kind of job you are getting, if it is a job that requires communicating with people, then yes Spanish would be beneficial.

However, don't just minor in a language because of this, make sure you really enjoy it.

Probably depends on what your job is. Fluency is more helpful than a certificate, but it never hurts to know a second language, especially spanish!

Spanish would be a good choice. As would, Chinese, French, Russian, Hindi,... I'd stay away from Sanskrit. My life's ambition is to learn to speak Esperanto like a native!

That depends on what job you want to pursue.I have a good friend who retired from Caterpillar after a life long career as a Portugese translator.Spanish translators aren't in as much demand.
