I'm looking for a specific Christmas skit I have found before, but can't seem to locate now.

It is full of puns, and is about a young couple preparing for Christmas; they have done all the requisites (decorating, baking, watching "Charlie Brown, etc.) but still feel as though something is missing.

Some friends come to visit at their house, and bring news of a baby that has been born (allusion to birth of Christ).

The play is FILLED with really silly puns, and the point is that the couple is missing the TRUE meaning of Christmas (Christ's birth.) They tapdance all around it, but never clue in to the fact that they are missing the true meaning.

Does anyone recognize this?? I have searched endlessly on line, but have not been able to come up with it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

While we agree that it is very important for you to think VERY HARD about what you will be getting for me, you already know your crappy gift will be unworthy but you must deliver anyhow, mustn't you? Well go ahead ----- here is my disgust for your gift(s) and your lack of imagination and general unintelligence: you are VERY WELCOME to get even THIS MUCH attention from me you unworthy slimeslug!

Happy Holidays!

I know it's not the cost that matters......but I am wondering exactly how much people are spending these days on gifts in total for their kids, family members, etc. I think we have spent around $300, but we started back in August. We are almost done.

I'm a 20 year old female and I am really sad because every year I have always had a present that I wanted.
Basically I weird person who likes strange things.
I'm big on music and video games, but I believe that I have everything that I want in those categories.
So if you all could just throw out some ideas, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
And there's not price limit just as long as it's not outrageous.

Most people have taken christmas and turned it into a big rush and alot of people just trying to make money they don't care about the season and its meaning anymore. Matter of fact they're so into money that they start putting christmas things out before Halloween is even here and forget about thanksgiving it's all about that Christmas rush & money no one cares about the real reason for the season anymore after while they will start putting christmas stuff out in September

I have no clue what I can get for my girlfriend with ten bucks.

I'm really poor, I don't have a job, and obviously I'm just a ninth grader (or else I'd be on the streets). I want to get something for her, something like a necklace or ring... but I only have ten bucks.

With $10, is the only kind of necklace I can get her the cheap kind?

Christmas is a time for gladness,
With eggnog filling lots of glasses.
The Christmas spirit you can see
For presents 're under the Christmas tree.

With all the stockings over flowing,
The fireplace is brightly glowing.
The hot chocolates steamin', the marshmallows 're meltin',
And the family's inside merrily decoratin'.

Tinsel and lights twinkle away.
The sounds of bells remind us of sleighs.
The smell of ginger and pine
Help us reminisce the olden time.

After eating candies and cookies galore,
The children are ready to explore.
Snow on the ground crunches under their feet
While mom's inside baking another good treat.

The children had lots of fun
Now that the day is all done.
They're too excited and can't fall asleep.
They've tried everything, from lying still to counting sheep.

The parents are putting up the last touches for Christmas,
While the children's' night is extremely restless.
The children don't dream of sugarplums this night;
They're too busy wondering what their presents will be like.

Would Santa Claus come again this year?
For the bells on his sleigh, you never could hear.
Not one of the children have ever seen that jolly old soul,
But their parents are good friends with him, or so they are told.

Christmas is such a beautiful day.
It's the feeling of giving that makes it that way.
The gifts are all open, and the day is now done.
The best thing of all is that Santa DID come!
