My boyfriend and I want to see The Nutcracker this Christmas. I'd like to see a really nice rendition, not a cheesy highschool or small theatre production. I live in CT, but am very close to NYC.

I have to come up with about 20 gifts this year on a fairly tight budget. I don't mind getting creative, but if you know of any economical and nice gifts to buy, all suggestions would be appriciated! Thank you!

Is anyone really annoyed that the brittish government (not even people from the ethnic minorities themselves) have said that people from ethnic minorities are offended by me calling my christmas lights christmas lights, and that they should be called winter lights. Most people of other faiths that I know say the government is being rediculous, and that they don't care what the lights are called.
Would blair dare to tell the muslims or jews they couldn't call their holidays and decorations by their real name? No. So they think it offends minorities, well having to call them winter lights blooming well does offend me.
rant over - what do you think?

I have a bad habit of telling kids that Santa Clause was killed by a 747. When parents hear me tell this to children, they get REAL upset and say I shouldn't lie about that. I think to myself, Boy that is the pot calling the kettle black because isn't it a lie to tell kids that Santa Clause is real???

Everytime I am on my way to work or just running errands or riding around town, I always see one or two houses that still have christmas lights on them or still have the wreaths on the door. I am talking about christmas wreaths. Tell me how you feel about this or am I the only one that feels this way?!?!
