Has to be "E"....what would Christmas be without all these activities? You did leave out wrapping gifts though, as well as spending time with family and friends. It's not Christmas without those either.

BAD
A fire in the fireplace (don't forget to remove any chocolates from the stockings - a warning from one who forgot ;-)) is always a must at Christmas, as are the frosted sugar cookies. I do enjoy decorating, and if I get an early start, I enjoy shopping. Running around in the snow is not something that I enjoy, however, I enjoy watching others playing in the snow through the window while I am sitting by the nice warm fire with a glass of hot mulled wine.

Why don't you try something new. Get all your family and friends and go on a hayride through the country checking out all the Christmas lights. Then everyone meet back at your house for hot chocolate and sing Christmas carols and read the Christmas story in the bible. Then at midnight everyone have a pray of thanks. It would be a wonderful way to start out your Christmas day of giving and eating good food together. Just a thought hope you like it and may want to give it some thought.

Shopping and decorating. B & D aren't options that I experience as we live in a warm climate that gets snow once every 12-15 years and it's not at Christmas time then.

E...all of the above. Not only that, a good friend of mine and myself go up to Christmas Lane where all the big houses are decorated and lit up. We walk around and enjoy being with the rest of the people. We drink hot chocolate, sing carols and just enjoy the Atmoshere together. Then we go back to her house, exchange our gifts and then we have dessert together. Then I enjoy being with my family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

I like all of them but my very favorite is decorating the house and trees. It just sets the mood for the rest of the holiday season.

I do not "run-around" in the snow, rather walk.

E...and that is just the start of it. (By the way, I am Pagan so I celebrate Yule, but the traditions are similar. Christmas is my favorite time of year.)
