Although my father is British and I have lived in the UK all my life, I have US citizenship through my mother...and I believe I will be tucking in to my first turkey dinner of the season tomorrow night....although it won't be my last...we are not doing the family thing until December 1st.

Hi all, i want to make this years Christmas more special than normal, more fun and make it a good memory. We have all grown up now, over 16 so have lost the excitement of kids being around at Christmas ( by this i mean, when your a little kid Christmas is really special). I have a turkey that someone gave to me even though I don't want it as I will be alone tomorrow and boozing all day. That and I really don't know how to cook the damn thing. All I have is the bird and a pan, nothing else. I am thinking about just chucking the damn thing in the garbage.
