Wow Moe calm down, anger like that is not healthy. Plus I was referring the thumbs down question in defensive for everyone who got a thumb down, and I didn't give anyone thumbs down. I titled the question to Muslims because I want to see if there are any similarities in our taste for shows, and to see what they like. But of course anyone can answer….Sorry if I offended anyone. Lets handle future issues nicer….and calmer.

ahhh this reminds of the quran and the t.v guide, no offence to anyone
They lie on the table side by side -
The Holy Quran and the TV Guide.
One is well worn and cherished with pride.
Not the Quran, but the TV Guide.
One is used daily to help folks decide.
Not the Quran, but the TV Guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see?
Oh, what does it matter, turn on the TV
So they open the book in which they confide.
No, not the Quran, but the TV Guide.
The Word of Allah is seldom read.
Maybe a verse before they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be.
Not from reading the Quran, from watching TV
So then back to the table side by side,
Lie the Holy Quran and the TV Guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the Word,
The plan of Istiqama is seldom heard.
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free,
Is found in the Quran, not on TV

salaam
at the time of our prophet (P.B.U.H) there were no tv pograms so they used to import stories from persia about love or other things ALLAHS SAYS CLEARLY
But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty.
these soaps tv pograms lead muslims astray as said by our creator and there will be a punishment as sed in da verse

but anyways, some are
LOST- used to watch it, probably lost on the plot so .... stuff it
Heroes... its alright
love watching documentaries like Senb
Chaser's war on everything - Aussie as- Look it up on youtube- they snuck into the APEC Summit= and they show how some Australians are racist against muslims- by dressing up as muslims and proving it!

Seems everyone spends more time watching TV when they should be spending more time reading the Quran. A lot of TV shows are talking about having premaritial sex...Watch AlNas which is better then any of these channels..........I think the one in English is Huda but I am not sure if you are able to receive it in USA.. What will people say to Allah(SWT) on judgement day? "Oh, ALLAh(SWT) I was busy watching friends I have no time for the Quran?
