I had a great Thanksgiving; thank you all for asking---lol. Family, friends, food, football... Just ate sat around watched football, drank Sangria, ate pie and loosened my belt.

Be honest with yourself. Does your "inner child" still believe in Santa Claus or at least, the beauty and wonderment of Santa Claus?
Eg.: Do you still deep down inside like to or expect a Christmas Stocking and maybe a small gift under the Christmas Tree from Santa Claus? Do you get "goosebumpy" when you Santa Claus in the Santa Claus Parade?

Well, it's really getting that time of year where more and more of us will be thinking about getting folks some Christmas presents. My question is how do you personally feel about giving out gift cards?

To me, their kinda a cop out just to go straight for them. I feel it's more like saying you're not gonna even try to learn what folks might like to get, just say get them a bunch of gift cards. I prefer to make gift cards a last resort, trying to find folks something they'll enjoy without having to resort to what is bascally saying go to this place to get your own present from me. Only when I run out of ideas do I even begin to consider a gift card.

Sure, it's easier to just get a gift card and let them pick out something their probably gonna enjoy. But how much thought really goes into that? I tend to think that actually picking something out shows that you actually thought about the person and what they might want.

I just got married in July and my husband is half Jewish. He isn't a practicing Jew but he does celebrate Hanukkah, and would like a menorah. He only ever lit the candles at his family get-togethers, though, so he doesn't know where to buy one. It's getting really close to Hanukkah so I'm a bit wary of ordering online because of shipping times.

If you spent this Thanksgiving alone, what did you do? Were you sad? Happy? Give me some ideas, drowning in my own self pity is quite a bore, but at the same time, I don't mind so much....

Who is out there? Did you do something different for Thanksgiving? What did you do to chase the boredom away of you were alone, or had no thanksgiving meal?

For me, I would enjoy sharing a Thanksgiving meal with the following three people...

Thomas Jefferson
Napoleon Bonaparte
Albert Einstein

And with a stags leap, cabernet sauvignon, 2002, it might be very enjoyable...!

Or just going to see what you may want..

Do you get aggressive?

And finally, do you have any crazy stories from the past of your shopping experiences?

This should be fun!!! Good Luck getting what you need!

Hope you had a good one, and found lots to be grateful for. Because we all should be, for whatever God gives us or takes away, for whatever we don't get or do get without wanting. I hope and pray He blesses you all even more than He already has.

Ok, I guess I am very hard to buy for this year and my parents say they spent $200 on my sister and want to spend an equal amount on me but have no idea what to get me. When I think about it I understand why I am hard to buy for because I really do not know what I want. I am just looking for some ideas here. I am 23 years old and male. I have a phone, and an ipod which I never use... I feel like i have everything i need right now and just can't think about what I want.

What would YOU get for $200 if you could go on a little shopping spree?
