Many synagogues have a small gift shop where you can buy basic Judaica items. Find a synagogue in your area, call their office, and find out if they have one, and what hours it's open. If they don't have one, then they can probably point you to a synagogue that does. Most are open Sunday through Thursday, as we don't use money on the Sabbath.
By the way - don't tell them that your husband is "half" Jewish - if his mother was Jewish, HE's Jewish as far as other Jews are concerned. If his father was Jewish and his mother was not Jewish, then he's not considered Jewish. To us, there's no such thing as "half-Jewish;" either you are or you aren't, and the mother is the determining parent.
Shalom :-)

RE:
Where do you buy a menorah, besides online?
I just got married in July and my husband is half Jewish. He isn't a practicing Jew but he does celebrate Hanukkah, and would like a menorah. He only ever lit the candles at his family get-togethers, though, so he doesn't know where to buy one. It's getting really close to Hanukkah...

Most stores will have a Menorah or two, even Bed, Bath & Beyond as well as department stores. Moat synagogues have a gift shop that also carried them, and there are plenty of online venues. In addition, if you live anywhere near a large Jewish population,. there are Judaica stores that have a huge selection. Have fun shopping.

If you have a synagogue near you, they usually sell small menorahs for the holiday with a box of candles. I live in a Jewish area, so we have stores that carry Judaica items and you can find many menorahs, in many styles in those shops.

Look for a Jewish store near your house, or, you can go to a synagogue and see if they are selling any menorahs.

Check the yellow pages under churches, and locate a synagoge near you. Call them, and they can tell you where to get a menorah.

In the spices aisle of your grocery store. McCormick brand sells a bottle that grinds it as you use it, but I am sure you can pry of the top if you need a significant amount at once. I believe the price is around $4USD for a normal spice bottle size.
