Maybe you need medication or some good friends.Let me guess,no family around?Holidays are all about family and friends.Hope you change your mind because life is too short to be miserable.

There could be many reasons why someone does not like the Holiday Season.

Many times, it is because people tend to set high expectations of what they want/expect from the Holidays, only to discover that their expectations were not met.

You added that you "maybe you don't like being around people." Is it only at the Holidays that you dislike being around people or is this an all year long feeling? If this is the case, then you have your answer; however, I would then be looking into the reason why you do not like being around people.

I hope that you do discover the reason for not being around people; because, there are very many people in this world who are kind, caring and genuine.

Also, the Holidays can be filled with wonderful moments and memories just waiting to be cherrished.

Happy Holidays to you.

I think part of it might be that around holiday time we feel as if something is about to happen and it disrupts our daily routine.

I am a creature of habit and when I am forced to take a day off for a holiday, it feels very weird. I do tend to get aggravated and that transfers to the way I feel about the general public.

Of course a lot of it has to do with annoying Christmas songs and bell ringing! :-)

Yup or that you're around individuals that don't play an important role in your life. I hate it cause I miss my extended family. Is not the same as it use to be when I was young. Reality is kicking in, I'm growing up.

it's probably the people. i am sure you like the food and getting to stay home from school or work, but lots of people ruin it. everyone is so fake sending cards or presents when you dont hear or see these people all year round. they come to your house or expect you to see them and yap all day catching up on the other 364 days they didnt yap to u.
happy freakin holidays

That is the most likely reason...it works for me...I love being alone.

No stress, no travelling around and no fights with the idiot in-law who sells insurance.

Happy Holidays

Maybe you're actually a vegetarian and you just don't realize it yet. Or it might be that you need to work on your relationships with family members and you might start liking to be around people more.

Maybe you are just around people that you don't care much for. Try going somewhere different, see a movie, hang out with friends, just do something different.

Yeah, but it's probably that you aren't happy with your life as it is, so it aggravates/depresses/bothers you to see perky, smiling people having a good time and seeming trouble-free.

I gave you a star to brighten your day a little =)
