Ok, I only have 9.39 to spend, so i need something cheap, and under 5 dollars, preferably. Please, don't say a card. i would like something useful too. i can't get her a box of chocolate's, because last time I did, she didn't eat one, because she didn't want any. So, what's a good gift, thats cheap. Thanks.

Last Year I bought one of those small blow up snow globes for Christmas.. It's the Indoor one that has Santa inside and plays Christmas music when you walk by it. It's not the big ones that go in the front year. Anyways it worked last year and then I got it out and it stopped working. The little LED lights still work but it won't inflate or snow. And the fan doesn't even move .Do you know what's wrong?

The person I chose, I hardly know, except that he's a nice guy. I know very little about him and we work different shifts. The idea is to pick 11 very small gifts (dollar store stuff) and then one nice gift on the 12th day (I'm assuming approx. $20 limit - I don't know)... but any ideas on what to get a professional co-worker? If it was a girl, it would be easy, candles, body washes, etc. But it's for a guy and I'm pretty much stuck!

Cash is good anywhere for anything at any time. It carries no restrictions. It doesn't expire. So why do people take cash and voluntarily convert into something less useful, that may eventually disappear altogether by expiring or with hidden fees?

Just say "NO" to buying gift cards this year.

How do you deal with people playing Christmas music, putting decorations, asking for money for Christmas meals, etc. at work polietly? I dont want to offend anyone and I know that many people love the holiday, but I seriously can't stand it! Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?

My best was about 4 yrs ago when it snowed in Houston on Xmas eve. That was the yr my divorce was finial and all my extended family were are the GP's house for the holiday. I didn't care what I got since I had all my family with me.

The worst was 1982 when both my Grandma and my Aunt were so drunk that they ended up fighting all xmas eve night and xmas day. No one wanted to get up and mess with anything.

ok, first of all, i feel extremely guilty for asking for anything cuz my dad constantly says "we dont have the money now", because my parents are in the process of a divorce. attorneys and crap........besides that, i only want two things.....either a sidekick cell phone (ive never owned a cell before) or a pink dell laptop....i was thinking the laptop might be a good idea cuz on dell it says u can pay monthly payments. like $25 a month. does anyone have some ideas on something a 13 year old girl would like thats not to spendy or has anyone ever used the monthly payments on the dell laptop??? how did it work? most info get 10pts
