Holidays - November 2007

He's very into sports, basketball especially. Not much of a gamer. Isn't materialistic. Doesn't care about brand names. Isn't into cars and all that. Doesn't wear cologne.

As you can see, it's very hard getting him gifts. I've made him many things already and I've run out of things to make. I've already made a scrapbook, photo frames, blanket, pillow, puzzle, cds, cards, cookies, cake, dog tag, etc.

After 4 years together, I honestly don't know what else to get him anymore. I've tried getting him Lakers tickets because they're his favorite team, but the only tickets left are the really expensive ones. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

All right, I have to get a secret santa present...spending about $20...but I can't think of ANYTHING! (i hate shopping haha)

I would love any suggestions for a gift for my 37 year old sis-inlaw that begins with the letter 'K'. We do a gift exchange every year by drawing names & a letter in which the gift must start with. It also has a $25 limit. Here's a little info about her; she is married to my husband's brother, they have no children, they love dogs (they have 2), they like to drink & have parties, they have a hottub & a pool, she loves jewelry, having her hair & nails done, she smokes, she pretty much has everything! I was trying for a very minimalist gold balls and lights. But now that I'm looking at it...seems rather dull. Does look nice with the lights off though. I found some silver and white garland and put some on. Now it looks cheap. Who is using this kind of garland this year? What do you think I can do to the tree to make it a little more flashy? Should I go with the garland, get more gold ornaments or throw a red tree thow under it?

I just placed my yearly Victoria's Secret Christmas order, as I do every year, requested gift boxes, as I do every year also. This year, the boxes didn't arrive with my order. When I called Customer Service, they explained that they now charge $3 per box. Chinsy and cheap, in my opinion. I probably won't continue to shop there because of the incident.. who else thinks it's absurd to charge for boxes at Christmas?
