All. i am in early stages of relationship. We have been out a few times and are getting on well. We are not even officially girlfriend and boyfriend. Should i send a valentines day present to her. Im torn between doing nothing and going overboard so she is sure that i like her. Advice appreciated.

Well, February 19th is our 1 year 6 month anniversary. He isn't into candy. He loves cars. I got him a pack of beer last year. Hah. For our one year anniversary I put a binder together with hearts and such saying 111 reasons why I love him so I can't do something like that. We have a few pictures of us on the computer but not many. I'm looking for something more cheap, maybe something I can make or something that would be a jaw dropper =]

I'd rather spend my time with my sweetheart when things aren't busy, overpriced and hectic. Why not on the 11th when you can reserve a table at a decent restaurant and get better service?

I believe there may be some hidden hurt behind it. I love the idea of a day of LOVE we need more of it. Ok, so Hallmark created it...why not just express your love from your heart instead of buying all the commercial items. Create something or enjoy a night out on the town etc. Please no hate just wondering were all this is coming from. This year I am hearing more negativity about Valentine's Day...it makes me sad.
