buy him a cheap card with a dinner certificate or gift card for a restaurant that the both of you can enjoy on Valentine's Day.
Wrap yourself up in cellophane on Valentines Day when he gets home from work and let him unwrap you.

You've already given him the best Valentine's gift in the world- a son!
Explain to him your financial situation. Rather than buying something, how about cooking up a nice Valentine's Day dinner, and then giving him a card with a heartfelt message?
For the sake of your son that you have together, I hope that the rough times you have had with your baby's father are over. Prayers for you all.

The best gifts, to me, are not commercial at all, but something that comes from the heart.
I don't know if you live together, but you can arrange for a babysitter for the night, and have soft music on and rose petals scattered around the house when he gets home, maybe some candles burning (or ready to burn) in strategic locations. Cook him a nice meal, (his favorite) and maybe give him a nice back massage.......... none of this costs much and you don't have to be crafty, but it will touch his heart. Try to put the "rough times" behind you, just for the day. That's what it's about. Good luck to you!!

Just get something with meaning. You should like write something meaningful. Or you can make a scrapbook of all your memories with like captions and designs. And put all your pictures in chronological order.

Or you can but some candles and a couple of roses. Sprinkle a trail of roses to the bedroom and have the candles lit and get it on. Even before then you can cook a nice dinner and sit down with each other at the table. If you don't have a table then set up a nice blanket in the livingroom and have like a picnic type of set up. And then you can dance to some slow jams after. Then you get it on.

The card is fine. Just make sure that you personalize the message. In the last few years my gf has been in school, while been out for a while. She usually just gets me a card, since I know she's tight on cash.

You could get a small stuffed animal.

Sorry, i don't understand the information superhighway internet site, yet I easily have some concepts. as a substitute of having books, why no longer make a CD for him. All you like is a clean CD, his admired tunes and a CD burner. If no longer, you are able to create a e book of coupons for issues like his %. on a action picture apartment, watching his admired activities group or enjoying video games with him. or you're able to continuously bypass with the scrapbook theory. good success!
