in these times of some americans hating france because france was right bush wrong about the whole no wmd in iraq thingy, and seeing how valentines day comes from france, do americans celebrate it, or should it be boycotted and sent back to france with the statue of liberty ?

I can't stand it. I'd rather every day be special ie small notes left - a daisy picked or such like on a daily basis. Valentines I feel gives everyone an excuse to relax in between and spend loads of money.

Do you have any ideas for a 16th birthday for a girl? The party will be at the end of February.
