in these times of some americans hating france because france was right bush wrong about the whole no wmd in iraq thingy, and seeing how valentines day comes from france, do americans celebrate it, or should it be boycotted and sent back to france with the statue of liberty ?

Unfortunately YES we celebrate it.

Do we consider or even THINK of France as part of this celebration??... NOT in the least.

France has no impact on our choice of holidays.

Everybody celebrates Valentine's Day. It's the Day of love going around everywhere even old people celebrate it I guess because their love is still alive. And they still having feelings for each other.
And never say goodbye it kills the hope of meeting someone again.
