Roses, my personal pick would be Blue roses. Tres romantique and very different. Would show that your love is unique, and that you are personally very creative.

That question's answer is limited only to the number of women in the world. Every woman has different tastes. I know women that hate roses. By best friend and I both adore tulips.
Another way to approach this idea is to think about what message each type of flower represents. For example, red roses mean romantic love. However, pink roses represent friendship. Other types of flowers for romance include gardenias and tiger lilies.

In my experience, some women like a certain type of flower. If you don't know her favorite flower, you should find a slick way to find out quick. Otherwise most women like any type of flower. What is most important is the arrangement and color. A good florist should be able to assist, but for instance: red roses say love, whereas another color may say friends or thank you.

I agree. Roses are so overdone anymore. I mean they are beautiful, but I'd rather get wild flowers, tulips, or daffodils if at all possible. Lilys are also a great bet along with orchids. As long as it isnt something as common as carnations, and as over used as roses, it'd be fine. If you are thinking about going with roses though, consider buying a small, potted, mini rosebush. This way, you can tell her that like the rose bush, your love for her keeps on growing.

It depends on the woman. I'd rather get a living plant than cut flowers. If I get cut flowers, I'd rather get daisies or lillies than roses (roses are so overdone, they take no thought at all). My best friend loves pink tulips.

The top flower is red rose.
But, I like lilies.
Maybe you should stick with red roses.
It is soooo romantic when a guy gives a bouquet of red roses to his g/f

Red roses are traditionally given as sign of love. But I would have given my heart to the man who took the time to discover that my favorite is lily of the valley, & bothered to find a bunch.
