I am putting on a valentines day dance for 350 people. The theme we are using is the "the roaring twenties". For $15 each you get dinner and dancing. What type of food will match my theme? and what are some good props we can use. I was thinking something like the Cotton club. Also its a singles mixer So i need some games where you can get to know people. Like Speed date and speed dance. Help me make this magical. Oh I have a $4,000 budget before the door fee. all adivce would help. thank you.

How many non-indians are aware of the origins of Indian independence and the actual date and year? And are they aware of republic day and it's significance? I'm just asking because in my experience americans (no offense to americans, i'm an american citizen myself, born and brought up there), know shockingly little about countries and cultures other than their own. And their only exposure is the media which doesn't cover much. So, I was just curious.

I want to know why people celebrate it lyk every second sunday of april or however it is. Why doesnt it have a specific date?Why do they celebrate?What proof do they have its happend on that particular day itself?

Hi my boyfriend and i are going on vacation to orlando and we will be there for 10 days and one of those days is valentines day so i need some help on what to do, we will be somewhere we dont know so i need some advice PLEASE..by the way we are a serious couple so nothing cheesy like for people who have only been dating a couple months, something real good.
