How about a modern version of the Gift of the Magi. You have a young couple that has to sell important things to themselves to buy a gift for the other. The boyfriend could sell his turntables to buy a diamond pendant for his girlfriend's gold necklace. The grildfirend could sell her chain to buy a new Mike for the turntables. They give each other their gifts, but can no longer use them.

Write about something you have seen that may have touched your life in an inspirational way. Maybe it could be about a family member or someone you are close to as a friend.
Think of a chicken noodle soup christmas story or something that you have read that touched your life or may have caused you to change in a certain area of your life.
There is no limits as to the ideas that are out there that you can use to write a story. Think about times in your childhood of christmas from the past or even the times that you had to work over christmas time in a part time job.

how about a poor family has to agree on a xmas present and they agree on only buying one lottto ticket they believe they can win and go evrynight to the local diner see the tv since their to poor to afford one well one night they wennt to go see the lotto picks annd outside their door is evry1 standing trying to interview them the family ask whats wrong then they realize they had won the lotto ! idk?
