Holidays - December 2006

I'm doing a persuasive speech for my communications class and as part of my speech I need to have a survey. This is what I want to know:

1.) Do you think it's important for children to believe in Santa? Why or why not?
2.) Do you think it's important for people of all ages to believe in Santa? Why or why not?
3.) Any Santa facts or websites with Santa facts/statistics would be extremely helpful.
4. And your age if you don't mind.

Exactly a year ago she had surgery for breast cancer, so around Christmas last year she felt really bad and wasn't in the holiday spirit. I have to get something for my husband. The problem is that we both buy what ever we need through the year. No we are not rich. I always save one thing for Christmas that I want, but he doesn't. Exchanging gifts with each other seems silly to me, because we use the same checking account and right now he is the only one who works. So essentially, I am buying his gifts with his money. For me, I think it would have to be travel. I don't mind being with family... it's the 14 hours getting there that bug me.
