That's easy... One year for my birthday we were planning on going out to dinner with the kids... nothing special. But then my husband surprised me by getting a sitter, picking me up from work and taking me to a really nice dinner - just the two of us. The best birthday ever.

ANYTHING that the giver gave me ans didn't ASK me what I wanted is the best present.
I hate when people ask :"What do you want for Christmas or your birthday." It makes them look like such dead heads and can't think on their own!!
I would have to say my best gifts I never asked for was a bathrobe and a Harley. Damn my man is good !!

When I was 9 years old, my father surprised me with a huge balloon bouquet for my birthday. I loved it. I think it was the element of surprise along with the gift that made it so memorable.

My best gift would have to be the a porcelain doll my dad brought me for Christmas. He is gone but every Christmas. I see him in the doll.

the greatest present i ever got was all my family being able to spend christmas with me this year.. And for b-day it was my friends being able to share it with me at a local water park:)
