I want to give a lump of coal as a Christmas Gift so the recipient will hopefully open their eyes to what they are doing is wrong. The recipient is used to receiving very nice gifts from me and I plan to wrap it nicely in multiple boxes....each box will reveal another box inside of it.....until they finally reach their Prize... I live in Southern California.

my 8 yr old sister does absolutely nothing except play runescape on computer and xbox games. we even asked her what she wanted and she couldnt think of one thing...im completely lost....any ideas would be great...im a creative kind of person so i like to give unique gifts if i can...and i really dont want to promote her inactiveness....and while im at it i also have a 16 yr old sister i have the same problem with. she lives on computer, always has her digital camera in hand, and cant think of anything she want either....i really dont want to give a photo album and scrapbook stuff again this year...so if you have any ideas i would be forever in your debt...im desperate....

Ok so this year its very tight as far as $$$$ goes. We just purchased a home and we barely have any money to spend on things. I wanted to get my wife a nice present but not too expensive. Does anyone know where I can get a gift that looks like I paid $1,000,000 but not pay too much. (of course I am exaggerating but you get the point) Please let me know thanks again =)

HOW do I convince my husband *major breadwinner* that we can't afford Christmas because he's spending $60 on Sushi and a trip to NYC for fun - this is all for himself.. and NO, he's not unfaithful...just greedy and spoiled. (that is just this week....) He talks about having a better Christmas for our three kids (we could afford Christmas LAST year either), but I just don't see it happening..

I need help.

On November 24th of 2006 I was told it was told by the salvation Army that it is too late for Christmas help for my Child. She is 12 years old. She may not believe in Santa But she is expecting gifts. (It is hard when she is at the age to not understand rent and electic has to come first. The local churches says they have no money, the salvation army says I am 3 weeks too late ,and toys for tots said they have only small children toys. All I get is dead ends. (Toys for tots says she is a little too old, they have only smaller children toys.) I don't get no public assistance because my wage is enought for two people. I am a single mom and I make only $8.oo an hour.) I can't even go to the dollar store because my money is so tight. (Since winter is comming the electric has increased.) Can any one help with advice???

My favourite is Last Christmas by Wham because not only does it nail everything that needs to be said about Christmas, it also reminds me of a time when my father was coming home for Christmas after 3 months away and the excitement of seeing him again was building.
