I'm 14 and my mom wants to know what I want for Chritmas and I have no idea. I tell her that but she tells me I must want something and to think harder. I like guns, heavy metal, fireworks and computers. I am fairly content and don't demand a lot but she wants to get me something. My bf is in Afghanistan and the deadline is coming up to send gifts to him. We're going to celebrate Christmas when he gets home in January but I want to send him something. Women seem to get the brunt of the work on holidays. Whether thanksgiving or christmas - which one is tougher on the woman? I say it is Thanksgiving. The reason is that there is much more focus on the meal. The woman is often judged on her culinary, domestic, and hostess duties on that meal. While I realize Christmas is a tough month, when it comes to the single day, I think Thanksgiving is tougher because of the big meal. Presents on Christmas divert attention from the meal.
