My family is definitely in the hoiday spirit. We are playing Christmas songs on our computer from Launchcast. We put out decorations last night and are still putting them up this morning.
We are writing our letters to Santa tonight.
We have egg nog made up and even though our apartment is small, it feels like the North Pole.
Even though our van is a junker, it was a sleigh when we delivered food and presents to the elderly on Thanksgiving Day.
Even though our wallets are a bit thin, we feel like the richest family alive.
The kids made clay and bead and wire ornaments and they are definitley worthy of hanging from the tree in Rockefellar center.
It's a magical time of year and to be surrounded by love, happiness and the Holy Spirit is amazing.

I'll be making cookes this weekend for the church cookie exchange.

I've started tatting stars and snowflakes to give to co-workers.

I've started thinking of ways to decorate the house that will look festive despite the lack of a Christmas tree (new cat--we've decided to give her another year before exposing her to temptation).

I've started playing Christmas music (I just can't bring myself to play it before Thanksgiving).
