I remember the part that touched the electrical wires overhead and the tracks in the streets. I was quite young but I do remember those things before they took up the tracks and did away with them. We have a trolley museum where you can visit and still ride them again within the compound. Such fun.

I have about 2 pair. One at the computer and one in the kitchen just to use when the print is oh so small to read. I won't have to run and get my "real" reading glasses out my purse each time I need them.

60 seems the magic number of age to feel "old"

40? Lots of people say life start at 40.
50? I want a new life.
60? " Iam 60, nothing much I can do!"

This is going to sound really stupid but how do I star peoples questions? I have had this lap top for 5 months and I am still just dabbling. I really must get some lessons so that I can understand how it all works.
I put it in this categorie because I feel slightly less embarrassed asking Seniors as I am one myself

or condo? Was it the cost and physical load of maintaining the house? I assume the rent was low if you have been in a home for over 28 years with a conventional mortgage.

Most of us Seniors are on a fixed income. I would like some suggestions on how to raise a little extra income as I know many of us could use that.
I suggest recycling aluminum, the kids now days just throw the cans on the ground.
Any other ideas?

A man takes his saint Bernard to the vet. 'he’s been behaving funny lately, and his nose isn’t wet anymore.' the vet picked the dog up and looked at its nose. 'I’m going to have to put him down,’ said the vet. 'why, just because his nose s dry?' asked the man is disbelief. "no, because he’s too heavy!"

Its 100 degrees in the desert, and a man lies exhausted and dying of thirst. He has stripped all his clothes off except his shorts, but is still sweating badly from the heat. From out behind a sand dune a salesman appears, staggering under the weight of a load of clean, new, white shirts. smiling winningly, the salesman tries to sell the dying man a shirt. 'Good grief,’ said the man. 'I’m dying of thirst, and boiling to death, the last thing I need is a shirt!' the salesman shrugs, bids him farewell, and disappears behind the sand dune. the parched man crawls along the ground, desperately trying to reach a building he can see in the distance.
As he gets closer he can see that there are all types of cool, refreshing drinks to choose from. Mustering up the last of his strength he goes up to the door. 'Sorry,' said the doorman, barring the way. 'you cant come in without a shirt.'!!!

For the male of the Species, the first ego boosts is when a young man addresses him as, "Sir".

The first major deflation is when a young lady does the same thing.

Does something like this happen to ladies? Or is it more probable that you're just seen to evolve to the 'Classic' class where in vintage is seen as an attribute.
