and I thought I'd buy one for exercise and whittling my waist. I was good at it when I was a kid but could not get it to stay in motion anymore. What am I doing wrong? Lol

well first i think you should get a big hula hoop (because they are easier) and make sure they have like water, or a little ball inside and then put your feet out at a diaganole angle and move your hips to your feet and back and the hoops should move lol

I remember the hula hoops but weren't they taken off the market due to back injury? To answer your last question your swiveler (ms) might be all used up. I can't move the way I use to. I haven't tried but I don't think I could make it work either.

They're crisps aren't they?

I've never been able to do the whole hula hoop thing, but a friend of mine can and she said the trick was just to move backwards and forwards like you do when you spin a hoop round your finger, instead of wiggling your hips like I always used to do. She got one from teh internet.

Takes practice like it did when you were a kid. Those were real fun times. Not a care in the world. Just thought we had problems. I always said I could not wait until I was 18 and could leave the house. Now wish I could go back home again and be with my parents as a child again sometimes. My parents are gone now. Wish I could see them. God Bless

I have 2 hula hoops and if you invest the time to keep them going, it will be painful, but no doubt beneficial to your waist line.

ps..it darned near killed me when I first got them, but it's better now...sort of...somewhat....lol

Swing it faster then move forward and backwards. I used to do one on the waist, and 1 on each arm all at once.

my wife used to have one when she was a kid...now shes 70, and she cant use it b/c her titties sag down to her waist, and the hoop cant fit over them.
