Personally, I think it's rude when people around talk in their own language when you are there with them.

I have co workers that are Hispanic, and they are always talking and speaking Spanish. They were not supposed to even do that in the first place because of the policy, but they still do it anyway.

It's just rude because you don't know what they're talking about and you wonder if they're talking about you.
