Is it a good idea too put a wal-mart on the rez?

I don't think it's a good idea to put a Wal~Mart anywhere; but an American Reservation should be the very LAST place one would be!

They pay crap wages, treat their workers like crap, sell crappy products, and all of the money goes right back to Benton, Arkansas. Most Walmart employees where I live are on some sort of govt assistance because they barely get 32 hours a week, and the hours vary all over the clock so they can't hold a second job to make up the difference. Their employee relations are SO bad that in an attempt to offset the numerous "Walmart sucks" websites that are all over the net, Walmart hired a PR firm to do a pro site. The firm had someone write up a bunch of fake "We LOVE Walmart letters from fictitious employees to fill the site. How sad and lame is that? They've done that a few times.

I'm Cherokee too, and I don't think so either. Keep that junk off the rez.

Not sure, if it's going to be financially better for the reservation I'd say yes, but if it's going to cause all sorts of other problems then maybe no.

I don't think so. I am marrying into an Ojibwa family, and its sad to see the culture invaded by such things.

yes it makes so much money, were ever it is located , people will come, it sells bigtime!
