I found the show entertaining but it makes one think alot.
How do you guess who the smart 5th grader is? Why do we teach them so many useless facts they will never use?

Addition, subtraction, good grammar, I don't mean.
I mean things like knowing say how much of the earth is made of water.

Yeah I noticed how useless that stuff is, but I look at it like building a house, you gotta start somewhere.

you mean addition? subtraction? multiplication? division? i don't know about you but i use these simple mathematical functions daily. elementary school is a foundation to build upon. if you want to do something in music then history may not be necessary but music in fifth grade I'm sure helped you get started with what your interested in now. you cant just start with something without a foundation to build upon

They like to pack our heads with the pointless so that later in life we can say.............you know to get d grades I wanted I learned alot of useless stuff.

because to just pick their career for them is communist, so in the lower grades we teach them a little of everything so they can see what they like to do and what they are good at.
thats why america is so good at stuff

It may not be useless you know. they may need it for a job thier going to take or something else.
