Or has it gotten better. I'm currently in one and we haven't experienced any negativity at all. But I just wanted to know if other interracial couples experience that.

I ask this because after seeing both "Memoirs of a Geisha" (2005) and Indira Varma's "Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love" (1996), I've found the Indian dances and style of dress to be the most exotic. It encouraged me to not only learn the historic Indian dances to pleasantly surprise my darling hubby but to ask my mother-in-law to bring me back some of those "genie" outfits (tummy-bearing) from India! ! Ladies, if you had the choice, which would you rather learn to be skillful at? Being a Geisha or learning the 16th Century Indian dances (wear they wear the infamous genie outfits) and why? (Men can answer too--at least which one you prefer!)

I am in college..and my roommate hangs out with gay guys. They are flamboyant and very flirtatious. They always grope and grab my breasts and slap my butt and when I try to tell them to quit they are like, "Oh hunni, I'm as gay as a 2 dollar bill" Well I don't care if they're straight, gay, bi, or asexual my body is not an amusement park. I don't want to make it a huge deal b/c my roomie and I already have tension.

Should I let it go since they're gay or should I be more adament? Do a lot of gay men do this?

I work at a grocery store and I get mad seeing all the Black men with white women and their biracial children and I see most of the Black women alone or with a group of kids. I'm not opposed to Black men dating other women it just makes me mad that some many of them would hurry up and marry a white woman instead of a sista. It makes me mad that so few Black men want to marry these days. This worries me because I'm 16 year old and I'm going to college and after i get out of college and get a nice high paying job I would want my strong Black man by my side.

I am mixed with black and white, my mom is black my dad is white. My husband, I think is black.....his mom is mixed with black and white and his father is black. My husband and I have two children, a boy and a girl. The girl has blonde hair and green eyes and she's a caramel color. My son has dark hair and dark eyes and also has a caramel color. Many people ask me if they are mixed. I always reply, "No, but I am." My childrens God mother says that's not true, that our kids are mixed just like me and I can't seem to believe that. I tell my children they are black. Am I wrong?

I am mixed and was hanging out with 3 white kids. We were giving each other nicknames. The white kids got nicknames based off of characteristics about themselves like being fat. And my "friend" aknowledged that he was targeting me with a race indicated nickname of oreo, because I am biracial meaning black and white. For example one of the other kids was nicknamed "Prego" short for pregnant, and the others frankenstein. Should I be concerned?

I like rap and hip hop but it seems to be dominanting over every other genre of music. It seems like its not cool to like rock, alternative, or country. Why is that? I remember when Madonna was on top and now its Ludacris and E-40? What the hell happened?
