Hurtful, ugly stereotypes are directed at Black Women--not girls! I am a black man and I will tell you the opposite of what people really think of black women.
Black women are phenomenal--Maya Angelou's famous poem Phenomenal Woman
Black women are excellent cooks
Black women give some of the best advice
Black women get educations, degrees, diplomas, etc.
Black women can raise a family all by herself and work 2 and 3 jobs at the same time, still holding down the fort!
Black women are business savvy and clever--Look at Oprah Winfrey!
Black women are strong for their families!
Black women are Queens--they have been for centuries.
So all the negativity that people believe of black women is over exaggerrated to an extent--Yes they are strong, passionate in their speech, clever in their motion of body langauge--but to me (and this is my opinion only) Black women are a large part of the world's backbone--just like other women of other countries are backbones as well!
I love sistas and respect them for their creativity for bonding, soul food and soul love and their magnificient and powerful endearing love for living life!
Here is a poem that can only partially explain the beauty of a black woman:
The Black Woman on the Daily
She is wearing a business suit or a uniform
ready to go to work,
but she has to drop the kids off to school,
she leaves them with a kiss.
The night before she made fish,
fried it in corneal,
even made some hush puppies---
damn could've slap yo' mama--
so good and fingers so tasty.
She has the lead solo
in church you can hear her voice down dirt country lanes,
through big cities,
and small towns
a beautiful sound amongst the fields of peas.
She is a strong,
intelligent,
she has been hurt,
but dried up her tears a long time ago.
She keeps on keepin on,
because she must put her faith in God--
he always makes a way for her.
She may not have the best education,
but her children are going to have what she doesn't have,
or flipside,
she has the best education--but she wants her child to be better than she--
She loves her man,
the man that she calls her king--
you know the one that gives her temple offerings
and love to match.
She makes sacrifices--
for her children, her family, her friends...
A hug from her,
can dry up your tears
and bring a smile to your face,
because through it all
this beautiful, regal black woman
is the sunshine of your day.

Negative and positive.
Negative stereotypes:
Loud, angry, hostile, tough, violent, ghetto, overweight and unhealthy, on welfare, users of the government and of men, fake hair, attitude problems, poor hygiene, and one I've heard a few times is that black girls are more "manly" or masculine than other girls, which is so far from the truth.
Positive stereotypes:
Nice bodies, pretty, womanly, strong-minded, self-confident, big breasts, big butts (guys love that), nice features (such as big eyes, full lips, nice nails, nice skin, etc.), "go-getters" that is, determined to succeed, good and trend-setting sense of fashion, high standards for men, intelligent, good singers, good dancers, good cooks, independent.

I don't know about the overweight or weave wearing characteristics - but being opinionated can also be added to the list. I'm proud of it.

Loud, fat, ignorant, and argumentative.
However, when I think of black girl, I think of sunflower seeds, pickle juice, jelly shoes and double dutch.

Loud, Obnoxious, rude, bitter, ghetto, weave wearing, hoochie, overweight etc... I don't fit any of these, I don't understand why they exist. The good stereotypes are that we are strong willed, outspoken and confident.
