My race is Black my ethnicity is Nigerian or African.

Race means that you belong to one of the 5 races on Earth. Ethnicity is what part of Earth you hail from. Race is all too often used erroneously to describe a particular ethnic group. Jews are a religious affiliation, not a race. Black/coloured people are a race. If I, as a person of Caucasian extraction were to be born in Johannesburg South Africa, or in Ethiopia, could I claim to be African-Canadian??? I think so, but then again, given how loosely we use these terms, I think not.

ethnicity is a group of people from a region.

race is difficult to define and does not exist. It is worth noting that in the United states I am of the same race as my sister but in Brazil I am a different race.

race means nothing to me since there is no such thing as races. everyone is a homo sapien sapien.

ethnicity means what country and culture you recognize yourself as.

They mean little to nothing to me, people are all different, yet basically all are the same.
