Most of my friends always believe that filipinos are not conservative unlike chinese ppl and they think filipinos are bad influence.

I was watching CNN special on Hip Hop and I couldn't help but notice that there was this black guy calling Rappers "mindless." and the only white guy on the panel was defending rap. I thought I was in the twilight zone. But it is not the first time I have sseen some conservative black person on TV making the same illogical arguments against black people that I am used to hearing from whites. I dont mean to say that black people can't criticize other blacks, but Im tired of seeing black people who grew up in the suburbs, went to harvard, and spent your life surrounded by white people, come on TV and purport to be experts on the struggle. Why so many uncle toms now a days?

why are they trying to ban these school mascots all of a sudden now i know for a fact that FSU has permission from the Seminoles to use that name in fact they send there own warrior to the home games. but I'm not sure about Illinois fighting Illini but even if they don't there is nothing degrading about calling these schools doing this in fact honor the tribes

It takes a lot to offend me- in fact I think people are way to easily offended nowadays. Tonight is the last time that Chief Illiniwek (Illinois' indian mascot) will perform. That being said, are you offended by indian mascots or do you think that these mascots are honoring a heritage that is quickly being forgotten?

I need to know this for a school project....can anyone help me?

Is the caste system really an issue in New Dehli in 2007?

Also, I have a list of the traditional festivals...but, can someone tell me what months they are in--both on the US calendar and the India calendar?

How similar is New Dehli to the US? This may sound stupid, but do the houses and neighborhoods look the same? How far out of town would you go before you see people living in "huts" or something like that? How far are the villages from New Dehli?

I have to write about a child being born in New Dehli and then moves to the US at some point...and I have to write about their life in India and in the US until they die at 75 years old. I need some info about Hindu life in India and how Hindus live in the US. If they still celebrate holidays here, where they would work? Can women cut mens hair? Are the genders still seperated in the US and India? Are marriages still arranged in villages in or near New Dehli?

along with a bunch of other useful aminal they wiped out, and they were also on the verge of killing all the buffalo, they used to scare entire heards of buffalo off cliffs just for a few means, could this be how they wiped out all the other animals, horses also travel in heards

My son has to right a history essay of about the most important issue of 2007. He suggested doing a paper about racism. My question for everyone is why are only whites considered racists? I have done a fair share of research and I am finding more evidence that racism is coming from all races. For example these days in South Africa, whites are being persecuted and treated unfairly. While I understand that apartheid was a terrible thing, is it right to retaliate on all whites just because thats what they are? I also realize that blacks are still victims in Africa and still think that they world has a way to go before racism truely ends.

i was just thinking about this. the large majority of the US is white and of European descent. of course i've known this ahead of time, but never really thought what that meant and how it happened. this country was inhabited by others and europeans just kinda landed and then over the next few hundred years moved here. i just thinks that really weird.

I am tired of my father being racist against my black girlfriend. I am tired of racist whites claiming that blacks are more racist against them when in truth being born white is the equivalent of being born rich (You know it!!) I even had a white professor finally admit that whites do indeed have an advantage (especially when it comes down to traveling around the world) I'm tired of people pretending racism does not exist. I am tired of people claiming that blacks are on welfare more than whites (when in reality the numbers are nearly equal). Most of all, however, I am tired of the chronic broken heart that my girlfriend seems to have because no matter what she does she will always be considered less than someone else because of something she cannot control. You are I could have easily been born black just like her!!! I just wish I could create an entire separate world just for her and wisk her away to a paradise away from it all. Is there anywhere with a lesser amount of racism.
