Why does Spanish TV in the U.S. only show good looking white people and no mestizos?

U think black ppl are the only race with a self-hate complex then ur wrong...It's also VERY strong in Latin Communities....the only thing is that if ur black and u want to be white your considerded a bad person (uncle tom), but if ur latino and u want to be white then it's a good thing...Latin mother's even encourage their daughters to marry white men...In Puerto Rico they have a Spanish saying which basically says "impove the race"....meaning marry white....I've heard this from MANY of my Latin friends....

Question to you? Are you ignorant? Do you know what a mestizo is?? Many of those white looking actors you see on latin american soap operas are mestizos. Because that is the way it is in our families. We have two complexions within our families. Some are born that look more european and others are born that look more indengineous. Because in my family we have some that are brown in complexion and others are white with blue eyes.

A lot of people are born with a brown or tan complexion with blue or green eyes.

Why does it bother you about what complexions are latin american people have??

But latin america has african looking people that became famous like Celia Cruz, El General, and all those famous baseball players. Are you familiar with music called Reggaeton?

Hispanic blacks are polite, have spanish names and speak spanish. There is no racial tensions in latin america. Ask the americans that live in latin america. There is no black vs white thing in latin america. Segration never existed in latin america because latin america has always been integration, "The Mestizos"
