A young Korean family came to America in 1974, they did not know how to speak english. They also had 3 young boys. The mother cleaned floors while the father work at a fruit stand. By 1980 the father bought the fruit stand and the mother came to work with him, by 1982 they expanded into a store front and 8 employees. They saved and put all 3 boys through college. In 1987 they were sued by a black group, they claimed the Korean family watched them too closely while shopping and didn't hire any blacks. The suit was dropped when the humble father produced 129 hours of video showing black youths and adults stealing from them, thousand of dollars worth of his labor for years. All 3 boys finished medical school and are successful doctors. They came to our shores with only the clothes on their backs. They never protested, never demanded Korean history Month, never never bothered anyone and over came racism in a black neighborhood.
