they speak
they don't look you in the eye
they fidget
they add unnecessary detail
they are very defensive

They will not look you in the eyes, thier eyes veer off to the left, thier pitch in thier voice changes, they become fidgety, they become sweaty, they try to change the subject, they become chatterboxes and backtrack a lot. Hope this helps, I have a lot of friends in the police department and know a lot of detectives that have enlightened me on this here.

Irregular speaking ,stuturing,Pacing,Not being able to stand still,Cant keep eye contact,pupils increase in size 40 percent,they cant seem to keep a conversation going,the fidgit,they mess around with there hair all i can think of now and trust me.higher they touch there facial features meens more they are nervous.the cross legs libms etc.

speech pitch and rate change, as does eye contact, the number of "um"'s and "ah"'s the person says, and shifts in body position and nervous twitches.
My mom would tell if I was lying because my ears turn red.
