i wanted to know if there is a connection between that name and the indian culture/religion. It sure isn't an indian name atleast I don't think so...because of it being so diffrent from other names.

Have you ever felt some one is always there next to you and there really aren't? Do you feel they are real or your just mentel? Like the are standing in the dark were you can't see them at night and they tell you things that you don't really hear but see in your head? Do you feel unsafe when your really safe? Are you safe?

Why is it not racist for the African American community to have their own magazines (Ebony) and own TV channel (BET, Black Entertainment Television), Black Music Awards, and Miss America Pagent, etc. but it would be racist if whites did? Why is there a double standard?

I understand that your ancestors were tourtured and bellittled. But your generation has just as much opportunity as the next person, so what is the point?

NOTE: I am not a ricist. I am not against Ebony magazine, BET, etc., nor am I for all white TV programing, etc. So no comments accusing me of being racist, this is not what the question is implying. I am not puting down African Americans and I am sorry if you feel I am.

I have a black boyfriend and we have been together for nine years. So my question is why do black women become angry at white women for dating black men??? The black men also chose to date white women,( and I do understand that there are black men who only date black women) so why is it that the white woman gets all the trash talked to her as if she stole the guy from black women or something, even though he willingly chose that route??? I hope no one gets offended by this question, but after nine years of mean looks and comments I just gotta get some black female feedback. Thanks.

OK its been more than 10 generations since slavery ended and one person could have lived through the entire era of American slavery to begin with. End it or endure it? When the Irish came here they were treated like animals, they were a lower social class then the blacks. Same with the Italians, Polish and definetly Chineese. Those groups, educated and saved to become prominent society. The blacks never made such an effort. Does Afirmitive action help them to do so? I read that something like 80% of all black students in college didn't have the grades or score to be there but are so because of their skin color. Is this fair to other ethnic kids who did have the grades and scores? What do you all think?

I asked a question about WHy do light-skinned actresses and models get more attention in hollywood? And all these people were attacking me. It's true Beyonce, Halle Berry, and Vanessa Williams all get more attention the dark skinned actresses. If Halle Berry was dark like coal no one would pay attention to her.Why can't dark-skinned black women be considered beautiful in the media? Even I myself dealt with this problem and it's still alive and well. I was teased about my skin alot becasue I'm the darkest one my family. And a lot of guys in my neighborhood say they only like light-skinned girls even the ugly and fat ones.

If you don't why do you have us on your mind so much? You talk about black people more than black people themselves? I heard someone say "We ask because we want to know why you people do the things you do in public. I mean what other race talks in the movie theater while the movie is playing? this affects everyone that has to be around black people.We are just asking so we can understand the reasoning behind some of the things you people do" If you want to know so bad, why don't you go up to that person and ask? How am I supposed to know what the black next to me is thinking? Not even animals think alike so why would we? We aren't the same. We do different things for different reasons even if it seem there is a pattern. Go get a episode of Ebony or Jet magazine or something. DAMN!

People use the worst kind of cowardly condescending evasive language like "they haven't come out of their shell" "they haven't blossomed" "they're not mature yet" well maybe they just don't want to express themselves. Maybe they feel like people don't need to know every single thing about them. I don't have anything against those who do and those who don't, it's a personal decision. that when you are in elementary all the teachers are women, and in middle school, still mostly women, but a couple men, then in high school a lot more men, fewer women, then in college-way more male teachers than females. why is that?
do you think it has to do with a tolerance for certain age groups? or something else?
or has your experience been different?

I say South America or Central America then its Africa. Cause Brazilians look just like Mexicans only difference is Mexicans wear green jerseys and Brazlians wear Yellow jerseys. No disrespect to Mexicans or Brazilians. South & Central America is racially 100% spanish. I respect mexicans cause my ex-girlfriend is Puerto Rican and she could pass as Mexican. Africa has mostly blacks but they got the terrorists people called Arabs. Europe has is next cause they nothing but white people except England they got some black guys thier as well as those horrible driving asians, smelly indians and dirty terrorist like muslims. Then is Australia which is nearly all white like canada. Asia is most full of chinese but they got some dark colored indians and arabs. North America is the most diverse with just about every race on the planet.

Really! I'm serious! I'm totally horse crazy and have 3 horses and a donkey, and I couldn't imagine what my life would be without them. I wake up and feed them, when I get off work I feed, ride, and care for them. I was just wondering what other people do with their everyday spare time. Like I get up at 6am and don't get to bed until 10pm or later. Maybe its just because im a guy but i get grossed out when i come across certain questions. Like describing in detail about themselves, like everyone wants to hear all that. Like period stuff and etc. I was raised that all that talk was girl talk, and u should talk to a doctor and/or another women. Are there any guys that feel the same way? At least try to keep all the details out of the main question, start with, "advice for women" or "Having a little problem, women can u help? I know some guys are going to still answer some of them but at least the rest of us can go on in peace and harmony. U might say well then dont read the sentence but believe it or not some of those questions are the featured question and a bold and underlined! Its kinda hard not to. I know there are many more issues on this site that are far more worse, but maybe some people just dont know that they are grossing people out. Your thoughts.

It seems like just about every firefighter is really tall and really buff...at least from my area. I mean I dont think Ive seen one firefighter in my area that is under 6 foot and under 190 pounds. WHats up with that?

I remember being foolish and young, I used to think everyone was nice and would not hate me cause I am kind and would not hurt anyone, but I was horribly awaken to find that people do hate you cause of your skin color and features. Heh, I thought racism against blacks was over with. I remember I wanted to learn to speak an asian language and travel around over there and make friends worldwide. Hahahahaha I was so inocent and kind, till I had to be slapped across the face. There aren't anymore smiles, just hatred that hurts the innocent, and the innocent in turn become racist and hurt someone else.....
