I find it funny and some times annoying that people especially "punks" and "goths" love to put all this crap onto emo's. I mean all the stereotypes, you got these suicidal kids who dress in dark cloths cut their wrists and sing about relationships breaking up and cry. ..OK
Well lets see pretty much every Goth I know likes the Cure and Joy Division. (so do I) And man pretty much every Cure song is Robert Smith winging about some chick (or guy) who has dramatically broken his poor sad heart into pieces. And come on people Love will tare us apart by Joy Division is totally "emo" and man I don't have to mention what Ian Curtis did do I?
And there are countless punk songs about relationships and crap. Like "What do I get?" by The Buzzcocks and Ruby Soho by Rancid or Train in vain by the Clash. Not to mention the countless Ramones songs.
I don't don't know, I don't get it. I admit I use to fully pay out "emo's" even though I am a devoted Cure, Joy Division and Nick Cave fan.

Goths are just plain scary. Emo is like goth without the heart- they listen to 'rock' like aar and Panic! but i would concider that more pop rock. Emos are usually hot though. oh and i hate when girls wear those ugly emo tights with dresses and shirts.. eww

There just insercure and misunderstood. The people that call themselves that though are just idiot's trying to be part of a fad. But i guess they are still the same.

Sadly, in my neighborhood they are rude, inconsiderate troublemaker graffitti artists and the males dress like the girls. But, they are all teenagers, it may just be a phase, you know? In my years, everyone was "Grunge."
